THE BRITISH PARA ICE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

The British Para Ice Hockey Association (BPIHA) is the sports National Governing Body (NGB) within Great Britain. We manage the sport, run the National League as well as running the GB National Programme.

We work very closely with both the British Paralympic Association (BPA) who are our National Paralympic Committee (NPC), and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) who are the sports global governing body.

INTERNATIONAL PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE (IPC)
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement.
The IPC organises the Paralympic Games and functions as the International Federation (IF) for nine sports, including Para Ice Hockey.
 
BRITISH PARALYMPIC ASSOCIATION (BPA)
The British Paralympic Association, are the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for Great Britain. It is their responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at the Paralympic Games. This team is known as ParalympicsGB.
 
BRITISH PARA ICE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION (BPIHA)
The British Para Ice Hockey Association are the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport in Great Britain. They are responsible for the day to day running of the sport, the National League and also manage and organise the Mens and Womens National Programmes.
