AJ Mead, of the Sheffield Steelkings, has only been playing Para Ice Hockey for a year, but is already part of the GB Program. Blesma recently sent a team to interview him for the magazine to discuss the sport and how he became involved.
Since 1932, Blesma have been the only national Armed Forces Charity that supports limbless veterans for the duration of their lives.
Blesma, The Limbless Veterans, helps all serving and ex-Service men and women who have lost limbs, or lost the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support.
Blesma magazine is the Charity’s official publication created specifically to keep all our beneficiaries and supporters up to date with our latest news, our work, the latest research and real-life stories. It’s delivered to your door every three months.
