Back in October 2006, Hull City Council’s magazine, Hull In Print, produced an article on local Sledge Hockey player, Simon Berry.
The article discussed not only Simon and his recent appearance at the Winter Paralympics, but also put a spotlight on the sport and the Kingston Kestrels team.
There’s Always a better way of living.
As Simon says at the start of the article: “I like to challenge the way people think and see things. There’s always a better way of living, and sport is a great place to start”.
The article goes on to discuss how to get disabled people into ice rinks to see the sport and then give it a go.
